SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant to join our clients in-house IT team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Production Planning (PP) module, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, WM). This is a great opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing company and contribute to ongoing SAP initiatives and digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP PP module based on business needs.
• Handle end-to-end implementation and support activities.
• Work closely with production, planning, and procurement teams to optimize processes.
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for SAP PP-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM) for seamless integration.
• Conduct user training and prepare documentation for implemented solutions.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and rollout projects.
• Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT) and data validation.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP, BOM, routing, work centers, and capacity planning.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP PP implementation project.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, and QM modules.
• Exposure to S/4HANA is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; local language (Gujarati/Hindi) is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP PP certification
• Experience in manufacturing industry domain
• Familiarity with shop floor processes and MES systems
