SAP HANA Consultant

As an SAP Basis Consultant specializing in S4 Hana upgrades, you will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and securing SAP HANA environments through the upgrade process. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP HANA systems, conducting database administration tasks like backup, recovery, and performance tuning, ensuring high availability and performance of SAP HANA systems, managing and supporting SAP technical infrastructures, and working on system updates and upgrades. You will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems, maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and updates, provide guidance and support to end users, implement security measures to protect system data, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Staying updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP HANA technology will also be a key aspect of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with a focus on S4 Hana upgrades, strong knowledge of SAP HANA technology and system administration, experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and migration, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a team environment. Relevant certifications in SAP HANA and S/4HANA would be advantageous. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems, knowledge of database management systems like Oracle, DB2, and SQL, understanding of ITIL foundations and project management methodologies, and SAP BTP knowledge. It is essential that you work in UK working hours and can collaborate effectively with Customer teams directly without any supervision.,
