Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The SAP FICO Lead will play a key role in driving financial transformation by leading the implementation, customization,

and integration of SAP FICO solutions. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, and deep technical expertise

to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable financial processes across the organization.

Leadership & Project Management :

  • Take ownership of the SAP FICO module.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Support cross-functional teams and contribute to business development initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO components: GL, AP, AR, and CO.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
  • Proficient in system configuration and customization.

Consulting & Client Engagement :

  • Lead client workshops and gather business requirements
  • Analyze existing FICO setups and deliver tailored solutions
  • Maintain seamless communication with stakeholders and service providers

Strategic & Analytical Insight :

  • Identify process improvement opportunities through financial data analysis
  • Resolve technical issues with effective solutions
  • Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance

Preferred candidate profile

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, consulting or system integration; preferably from Pharma Industry (injectables)

/ Packaging Industry

Strong understanding of statutory reporting and financial consolidation processes.

  • Experience with cross-module integration (MM, WM, PPQM, SD, Project Systems, Plant Maintenance)
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, Project Management, including leading teams
  • Excellent in: Decision making, planning, data analysis, organizational leadership, critical thinking, problem solving,

communication, adaptability, people skills, convincing, presentation & public speaking

  • Good in: Business negotiation, resource optimization, team management, conflict management and reporting skills,
  • proficient in MS Office and sound knowledge of SAP, fluency in English written and spoken
