Job Description

Responsibilities of FICO Consultant include:

  • Understanding the business requirements.
  • Enhancement of the SAP for the end users based on requirements and recommend SAP solutions to align and enable business processes within Information Systems technology strategy, standards, and processes.
  • Preparation of Blueprint for implementing the project along with other document requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms, and workflow.
  • Implementation of the project and support to existing SAP landscape, Change Request.
  • Validate the requirements and changes in customizing and configuring SAP application functionality (hands-on) as required.
  • Discuss the requirement with Technical Consultant and provide the required information from technical point with respect to the business process.
  • Perform unit and integration testing on SAP Development and Quality Assurance servers, as needed to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Provide training to end-user.
  • Sort out day-to-day queries of end users.
  • Provide functional support related to SAP and other applications

Desired Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger in addition to at least 3 of the accompanying capacities: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project Systems, CO configuration: Product costing, Profit Centre Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Activity Based Costing.
  • Must be aware of the technical aspects of the FI such as Tables, relations between tables, FI Validations, BTE, BAPI, Function Modules, BADIs, exits, etc. to implement the different business processes.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes.
  • Capacity to comprehend business forms from a client’s point of view.
  • Capacity to work in a group domain, viably cooperating with others.
  • Must be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment, Time management skills
  • Involvement with FI integration focuses on other SAP modules like MM, HR, PP, and PM.
  • Capacity to perform multiple tasks and deal with different expectations and undertakings simultaneously.
  • Experience in S4 HANA/Rise With SAP would be added advantage.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • SAP FICO Certification is Mandatory.
  • Fluency in Hindi, Tamil language is preferable.
