SAP FICO Consultant

As a Principal Product Owner in the IT department with a focus on SAP Business Application in Chennai, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Be a strategic advisor to the CFO, making independent decisions for the company while collaborating with the core team. - Enable new functionality in SAP FI/CO Module and other IT systems, overseeing the implementation and rollout of projects. - Implement changes in statutes within SAP as required and integrate SAP with other systems when necessary. - Conduct training sessions for new and existing users on the SAP FI/CO Module. - Identify potential areas within SAP/IT that can bring business benefits and assist in financial planning using tools like BPC/SAC. Additionally, have exposure to consolidation using tools like SAP GR. - Collaborate with other modules such as FI, SD, MM, etc., to ensure the company's requirements are consistently met. - Provide troubleshooting and clarifications to users, generate reports with the ABAP team or through business intelligence, and offer workarounds when SAP does not directly meet requirements. - Prepare functional specifications for development and possess knowledge in non-banking functions, costing, and treasury for added advantage. Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational qualifications: ICWA/CA/MBA Finance with SAP FI Certification and costing knowledge. - Additional qualification: SAP FI/CO - S/4HANA Certification. - Total experience of 10 to 15 years in the industry and 7 to 9 years of SAP practice experience.
