As a Principal Product Owner in the IT department's SAP Business Application section based in Chennai, you are expected to possess educational qualifications such as ICWA/CA/MBA Finance with SAP FI Certification and Costing Knowledge. Additionally, holding a SAP FI/CO - S/4HANA Certification is considered an advantage. With a total industry experience of 10 to 15 years and 7 to 9 years of SAP practice experience, you will be involved in various industries such as Fin Tech, Manufacturing, Insurance, NBFC, and Retail. Your role involves being a strategic advisor to the CFO and making independent decisions for the company in collaboration with the core team. You will be responsible for enabling new functionality in SAP FI/CO Module and other IT systems, implementing and rolling out projects, implementing changes in statutes in SAP, and integrating SAP with other systems as necessary. Furthermore, you are expected to train new and existing users on the SAP FI/CO Module, identify potential areas in SAP/IT for business benefits, assist in financial planning using tools like BPC/SAC, and have exposure to Consolidation using tools like SAP GR. Coordinating with other modules such as FI, SD, MM, etc., ensuring consistent meeting of the company's requirements is also part of your responsibilities. Troubleshooting and providing clarifications to users, generating reports for users through collaboration with the ABAP team or via business intelligence, and offering workarounds whenever SAP falls short of meeting requirements directly are key aspects of your role. Moreover, preparing Functional Spec for development and possessing knowledge in Non-Banking functions, Costing, and Treasury are considered additional advantages.,
