SAP FICO Consultant

As a SAP HANA/FICO Consultant with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of at least 10 application specialists and support staff. Your role will involve conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and supporting professional development within the team. You will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems across the organization to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving complex SAP issues, acting as the main liaison between IT and business stakeholders, and leading SAP FICO module implementations in alignment with business objectives. You will also drive and support SAP S/4HANA 2023 implementation projects, providing expert-level advice on FICO and COPA processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions is crucial. Additionally, you will be involved in hands-on Fiori app configuration for finance-related processes to enhance user experience. Leading solution design workshops, creating functional specifications, and overseeing the development of custom reports, interfaces, and workflows will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring successful integration of FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP, performing data migration, system testing, and training end-users are also key aspects of your role. You will optimize COPA configurations and reporting for accurate profitability analysis and management decision-making. Providing post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and proposing system enhancements for continuous improvement are essential tasks. Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in SAP FICO, COPA, and S/4HANA to drive innovations within the business is expected of you. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. - 10-12 years of experience in SAP FICO module, including full lifecycle implementations. - Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA 2023 and Fiori applications. - Strong expertise in SAP CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and other CO sub-modules. - Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP) in an S/4HANA environment. - Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design. - Proficiency in writing functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams on custom development. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and lead SAP FICO projects from blueprinting to go-live. Preferred Qualifications: - SAP certification in FICO and/or S/4HANA. - Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, or services. - Familiarity with the latest SAP innovations such as SAP Central Finance or Group Reporting. - Experience working in Agile project management methodologies.,
