Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own SAP and other system operations from the ground up, including initial implementation, module configuration, daily maintenance, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.

2. Lead or collaborate with third-party consultants and vendors for new system onboarding, additional module rollouts, system upgrades, or cross-region ERP implementations.

3. Conduct requirement gathering and business-process analysis with stakeholders from different departments (e.g., finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain), translate business needs into technical specifications, and design SAP solutions accordingly.

4. Develop, configure, and maintain custom SAP developments (e.g., ABAP / Fiori / enhancements / integrations) and ensure smooth integration with external systems (e.g., MES, web-based systems, legacy databases).

5. Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go live support; monitor system health and proactively address performance or functional issues.

6. Document system configurations, customizations, integration interfaces, and maintain user guides / SOPs. Provide training and support to end-users across departments.

7. Collaborate closely with headquarter IT, business and operations teams to align ERP processes and ensure data consistency and process standardization.

8. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing ERP processes, support business process optimization, and align ERP system evolution with long-term business goals.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP implementation, support or maintenance, preferably within manufacturing, supply chain or production industries. Experience across multiple SAP modules (e.g., PP, MM, SD, FI/CO) is highly preferred.

3. Proficiency in SAP development and customization, including but not limited to ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, Enhancements, Forms, RFC, ALV, etc.

4. Strong understanding of system integration technologies (IDoc, CPI, API), SAP security and authorization concepts, with the ability to apply SAP Activate or equivalent methodologies to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

5. Proven record of delivering SAP rollouts, upgrades, and integrations. Experience with implementing or integrating other systems such as MES, PLM, BPM, CRM or BI tools would be a big plus.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to interpret business requirements and translate into technical design.

7. Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders.

8. Experience with data migration, interface development, reporting, and preparation of system documentation for audit, compliance, or training purposes.

9. Self-driven, ownership, and ability to work both independently and within a team. Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.

10. Knowledge of project management, ability to support or lead ERP projects.
