SAP Data Integration Specialist

Job Title: SAP Data Integration Specialist Connectors, Interfaces & Module Expertise

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Contractual Role(C2H)

Tenure: 3 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and validation of

  data connector architectures

  across SAP modules, enabling real-time and batch ingestion pipelines.
• Document and interpret

  underlying data models and schemas

  of SAP modules:

  FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), SD (Sales & Distribution), Ariba, Concur

  , and

  S/4HANA

  .
• Work closely with engineering teams to build

  schema-aware connector frameworks

  and

  metadata-driven ingestion

  .
• Deep dive into

  SAP OData APIs, SAP REST APIs

  , and

  SAP Event Mesh / Streaming APIs

  to enable connector development.
• Map out

  entity-relationship models

  (tables, columns, data types, primary keys, join paths) across SAPs relational and service-based interfaces.
• Collaborate with

  Data Architects, Engineers, and Product Managers

  to build robust, reusable, and testable connector modules.
• Guide the

  error handling, retries, token refresh, pagination

  , and

  security patterns

  for SAP APIs and data access.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices on

  SAP-to-Cloud data integration

  .

Key Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working with

  SAP ecosystems

  , especially in

  data engineering, interfaces, or integration roles

  .
• Proven experience with

  SAP data stores and schemas

  for:

• FI/CO

  : General Ledger, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Vendor/Customer Ledgers OR

  SD

  : Orders, Deliveries, Invoices or

  Ariba & Concur

  : Procurement, Expenses, Supplier Master or

  S/4HANA

  : CDS Views, Views or

  SAP BTP

  : CAP, Event Mesh, Integration Suite
• Deep knowledge of

  SAP API interfaces

  :

• SAP OData v2/v4 APIs

• SAP REST APIs (API Hub)

• SAP Event Mesh / Queue/Event Topics

• SAP Gateway & SAP NetWeaver for API Exposure

• Familiarity with

  SAP HANA

  as a backend datastore (tables, SQL views, modeling artifacts).
• Experience working with

  SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Connector, or PI/PO

  is a plus.
• Understanding of

  OAuth2, SAML, Basic Auth

  and token management for secure API access.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to

  open-source or cloud-native connector development

  (Python, FastAPI, Airbyte, dbt, etc.)
• Familiarity with

  GCP / Azure / AWS

  for cloud integration of SAP data.
• Experience with

  data modeling

  ,

  reverse engineering

  UDM design

  based on SAP data.
• Knowledge of

  SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
