SAP BRIM Functional Consultant

• Solution Design & Configuration:

   Design, configure, and implement solutions within the SAP BRIM FICA, CI, and CM modules based on business requirements.

• Business Process Analysis:

   Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze complex processes, and translate them into effective and scalable SAP BRIM solutions.

• System Integration:

   Manage the integration of SAP BRIM components with other SAP modules (like S/4HANA) and third-party systems.

• Convergent Mediation:

   Oversee the data mediation process using SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), including data transformation, filtering, and routing from various sources into the billing system.

• Convergent Invoicing & FICA:

   Configure billing and invoicing processes in CI and manage downstream financial processes in FICA, including dunning, collections, payments, and credit management.

• Testing & Support:

   Develop and execute test scripts, provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize the system.

• Documentation:

   Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user training materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Module Expertise:

• BRIM FICA:

   Strong hands-on experience with configuration and core FICA processes (e.g., posting, payments, dunning, collections, and reporting).

• BRIM CI:

   Proven expertise in configuring billing plans, billable item management, invoicing, and integration with FICA.

• BRIM CM:

   Experience with Convergent Mediation by DigitalRoute for data integration and preprocessing.

• Project Experience:

   Must have been part of at least one full-cycle SAP BRIM implementation project.

• Technical Skills:

   A solid understanding of the BRIM architecture and its integration points. Basic ABAP debugging skills are highly advantageous.

• Education:

   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with other SAP BRIM components like Convergent Charging (CC) or Subscription Order Management (SOM).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Relevant SAP certifications.
• Experience in industries such as Telecommunications, Media, Utilities, or other subscription-based business models.
