SAP BRIM CM (Convergent Mediation) Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and configure mediation logic using

  APL

  , SAP CM's proprietary language similar to JavaScript/Java.
• Implement

  processing rules

  ,

  data transformations

  , and custom

  business logic

  for usage data handling.
• Customize input and output adapters, transformation rules, and routing logic based on business requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage

  data workflows

  to process high volumes of usage records.
• Ensure scalability and performance of workflows that serve as the core engine of Convergent Mediation.
• Maintain workflow lifecycle including development, deployment, and versioning in CM environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end mediation processes to resolve runtime issues.
• Optimize

  CM performance

  , including memory usage and processing time.
• Analyze logs, runtime behavior, and data flow to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with BRIM teams (CC, CI, FI-CA), developers, and business analysts to understand and deliver mediation requirements.
• Document workflow logic, transformation rules, and configuration parameters.
• Support knowledge transfer, solution walkthroughs, and end-user training as needed.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of

  5 years experience

  with

  SAP Convergent Mediation (CM)

  .
• Proficient in

  APL

  or similar programming languages (Java/JavaScript).
• Experience in designing and managing

  data-intensive workflows

  .
• Strong understanding of

  mediation concepts

  ,

  event processing

  usage data transformation

• Hands-on experience in

  troubleshooting

  runtime environments.
