SAP BRIM Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Design and implement robust integrations between SAP BRIM and external/internal systems using middleware platforms (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, etc.).
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across BRIM components (CI, CC, CM, SOM, FICA).
• Maintain and enhance existing integration landscapes to support business growth.
• Utilize APL (A Programming Language) to define business rules, data transformations, and mediation logic within

  Convergent Mediation

  .
• Configure and extend CM components to align with customer-specific requirements.
• Develop reusable logic blocks for high-performance data handling and transformation processes.
• Design and manage complex workflows in Convergent Mediation to handle large volumes of transactional and event-based data.
• Optimize workflow performance for real-time and batch processing scenarios.
• Ensure high data integrity, consistency, and throughput in all workflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end billing processes, particularly in CM and related systems.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize memory usage and runtime behavior.
• Apply systematic problem-solving skills to resolve technical and functional issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing, Finance, Middleware, and Architecture) to define and deliver project goals.
• Clearly document configurations, custom logic, integration touchpoints, and operational procedures.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to support teams and business users when required.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with

  SAP BRIM

  , especially

  Convergent Mediation (CM)

  .
• Experience in

  middleware platforms

  like SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or Dell Boomi.
• Proficiency in

  APL

  or similar languages (JavaScript/Java) for mediation logic development.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and data transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with high-volume data processing and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
