SAP BRIM CC (Convergent Charging) Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Design and implement charging models including

  charge plans

  ,

  charges

  ,

  pricing macros

  ,

  refill plans

  , and

  refill logic

  .
• Configure and customize SAP CC components to meet complex rating and charging business scenarios.
• Manage chargeable and charged item catalogs, including setup and monitoring of

  Billable Items (BITs)

  and

  Consumption Items (CITs)

  .
• Maintain master data related to

  rating processes

  ,

  charging pipelines

  , and

  invoicing flows

  .
• Handle

  integration of SAP CC with other BRIM components

  like Convergent Invoicing (CI), SAP CI/FI-CA, and mediation systems.
• Load, process, and manage

  event data records (EDRs)

  that trigger charging actions.
• Understand and utilize

  SOAP web services

  for integrations, testing, and communication between systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in

  SAP CC configurations

  , EDR processing, and integration interfaces.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal

  runtime behavior

  and data accuracy.
• Conduct thorough

  unit testing

  ,

  system testing

  , and support

  user acceptance testing (UAT)

  to ensure delivery quality and reliability.
• Validate end-to-end flows for rating, charging, and billing.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical architects to gather requirements and provide solution demonstrations.
• Document solution design, configuration changes, integration touchpoints, and operational guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of

  5 years of hands-on experience

  in

  SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC)

• Strong understanding of

  SAP BRIM components

  , especially CC and CI.
• Proficiency in configuring

  rating models

• Experience working with
