Job Description

? Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract data from various source systems, cleanse the data, apply business rules, and deliver data files within set timelines. Design, develop, and maintain ETL routines using SAP BODS based on business requirements. BODS Development: Develop Workflows, Data Flows, and ETL Jobs, including the use of If-Then-Else statements and Where Clauses. Create, manage, and maintain BODS jobs in a multi-developer environment, ensuring proper version control in the Central Repository (CR). Advanced BODS Features: Leverage SAP BODS formats and transforms, including Flat File formats, Query, Table Comparison, and Map Operation. Utilize Lookups, Lookup_ext, table joins, Match, Merge transforms, and custom functions for efficient data processing. SQL and Scripting: Develop and execute SQL statements, functions, and variables within Initialization and End-job scripts to support ETL workflows. Data Quality and Optimization: Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance optimization in data transformation processes. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to data processing jobs. Reverse Engineering: Perform reverse engineering of data structures and processes as needed to improve or migrate existing solutions.
