SAP Basis

You will be responsible for SAP Basis Administration tasks such as installing, configuring, and managing SAP systems like ECC, S/4 HANA, and SAP Fiori. Your role will involve daily monitoring of system and database performance to ensure system availability. Managing user profiles, roles, authorizations, and security across SAP systems will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform regular backups, disaster recovery activities, and ensure that SAP system patches and updates are applied consistently to maintain system integrity. In the area of SAP S/4 HANA Implementation, you will participate in conversion or greenfield implementation projects. Collaboration with functional teams to align SAP Basis configurations with business requirements will be crucial. Your tasks will include initial system setup, configuration, and tuning for S/4 HANA instances, as well as assisting in migrations from older versions to S/4 HANA. You will also lead system performance testing and optimization activities during implementation phases. As part of upgrade and migration projects, you will manage end-to-end projects, including planning, testing, and execution. Coordinating and executing SAP system migrations between on-premise and cloud or data centers will be within your scope. Post-migration system checks, adjustments, and data migration strategies using tools like SAP Data Services and LTMC will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP Basis support for both production and non-production systems. Troubleshooting system performance issues, critical errors, system dumps, background job failures, and other operational issues will be essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation for system configurations, upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Creating detailed reports on system performance, upgrade status, and issue resolutions will be expected. Key Skills and Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration, including ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, and Fiori. - Strong knowledge of database management systems like HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server. - Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations, migrations, and upgrades. - Familiarity with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and SAP Data Services. - Experience in SAP HANA architecture, configuration, and performance tuning. - Proven experience in full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementations and SAP upgrade and migration projects, especially to/from S/4 HANA.
