Sap Basis Consultant-upgration &migration

Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  SAP system upgrades

  (ECC to ECC, ECC to S/4HANA, Support Pack, Kernel upgrades).
• Plan and execute

  SAP system migrations

  (OS/DB migration, Unicode conversion, Cloud/on-prem migrations).
• Install, configure, and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager).
  
• Manage SAP transport management system (TMS), client administration, and system refreshes.
  
• Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and capacity planning.
  
• Handle

  SAP HANA administration

  , including backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Perform system copies, client copies, and post-migration validation activities.
  
• Troubleshoot BASIS-related issues and coordinate with functional/technical teams.
  
• Ensure system security, user administration, and role management in coordination with security teams.
  
• Provide

  24/7 production support

  as part of rotational shifts.
• Maintain system documentation and follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
  
• Support audits and compliance requirements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in

  SAP BASIS Administration

  .
• Strong experience in

  SAP Upgradation and Migration projects

  .
• Experience with

  SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB

  .
• Good knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP tools like SPAM, SUM, SWPM, and Maintenance Planner.
  
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager is preferred.
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  
• Willingness to work in

  24/7 rotational shifts
