Role & responsibilities

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive

  dashboards, stories, and visualizations

  using SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Develop data models within SAC using live or imported data connections (SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA, etc.).
• Integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP data sources using connectors, OData services, and APIs.
• Optimize dashboards for performance, responsiveness, and usability across devices.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of

  SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions

  , including design, development, deployment, and support.
• Implement planning models, input forms, and predictive features (if SAC Planning is used).
• Strong expertise in

  dashboard design, data modeling, and SAC scripting

• Proficiency in connecting SAC to SAP BW, S/4HANA, or SAP HANA.

• Clear understanding of business processes in domains such as

  finance, sales, logistics, HR,

  etc.
• Define

  architecture

  and best practices for

  model building

  ,

  data actions

  ,

  multi-actions

  ,

  allocations

  predictive forecasting

  value driver trees

• Collaborate with

  finance, supply chain

  sales teams

  to gather requirements and translate them into scalable planning models.

  . Drive the

  performance optimization

  of stories, models, and planning workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly dashboards and stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Leverage SACs capabilities such as charts, tables, KPIs, input controls, linked analysis, etc.

• Use calculated measures, restricted measures, hierarchies, parameters, and formulas effectively.

• Other cloud/on-premises data sources via OData, REST APIs, or SAP Cloud Connector
