Your Responsibilities As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for the following key areas: Data Visualization & UI/UX Development: - Design and develop highly interactive, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with a strong focus on user experience (UX), storytelling, and self-service analytics enablement. - Optimize report performance by implementing efficient DAX measures, Power Query (M), SAC scripting, and best-in-class visualization techniques. - Ensure UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and consistency across enterprise reporting solutions. Data Modeling & Integration: - Architect and implement efficient, scalable data models while adhering to best practices for structured and semi-structured data. - Integrate and transform large datasets from Databricks, SAP Datasphere, EDW solutions, and other cloud platforms for optimal performance. - Develop and maintain semantic layers and metadata models for optimized data consumption. Performance Optimization & Platform Engineering: - Conduct performance tuning of reports, queries, and models to ensure fast, responsive, and high-performance BI solutions. - Work closely with data engineers and architects to improve query execution times, caching mechanisms, and overall system efficiency. - Optimize real-time and batch processing scenarios, ensuring high availability and reliability of reports. Security, Governance & Compliance: - Implement enterprise-grade security models, including row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and data access controls. - Ensure all BI solutions comply with data governance policies, security protocols, and regulatory standards. - Champion data quality, lineage, and governance frameworks to maintain trusted, accurate reporting. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: - Collaborate with business stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights. - Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business units and deliver intuitive, data-driven storytelling dashboards. - Drive adoption of self-service BI, enabling business users to derive insights independently. Innovation & Thought Leadership: - Stay ahead of emerging BI technologies, including AI/ML-powered analytics, next-generation BI platforms, and data visualization advancements. - Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing best practices in data visualization, performance tuning, and BI platform engineering. - Advocate for automation, DevOps for BI, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and report lifecycle management. Your Profile - 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise BI development, including Power BI (DAX, M Queries) and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) at an expert level. - Strong UI/UX expertise, including data storytelling, design thinking, and interactivity in BI dashboards. - Expertise in data modeling and transformation, particularly in Databricks, SAP Datasphere, and cloud-based data warehouses (EDW solutions). - Proficiency in performance optimization techniques for large-scale datasets and complex BI queries. - Solid experience in data security frameworks, including row-level security (RLS), identity management, and access control within BI tools. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, able to navigate complex business problems and deliver scalable solutions. - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Certifications in Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or related BI tools (preferred). - Experience in cloud BI architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integration with enterprise platforms. - Knowledge of DevOps for BI (CI/CD pipelines for Power BI or SAC deployments). - Experience with AI/ML-driven analytics, predictive modeling, and natural language querying (NLQ) in BI tools. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, JIRA, and enterprise project management tools. #IncludingYou Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are cornerstones of ADMs efforts to continue innovating, driving growth, and delivering outstanding performance. Role & responsibilities Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant with 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and financial planning solutions . Key Responsibilities: Design and develop interactive dashboards, stories, and visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud. Develop data models within SAC using live or imported data connections (SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA, etc.). Integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP data sources using connectors, OData services, and APIs. Optimize dashboards for performance, responsiveness, and usability across devices. Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions , including design, development, deployment, and support. Implement planning models, input forms, and predictive features (if SAC Planning is used). Strong expertise in dashboard design, data modeling, and SAC scripting Proficiency in connecting SAC to SAP BW, S/4HANA, or SAP HANA. Clear understanding of business processes in domains such as finance, sales, logistics, HR, etc. Define architecture and best practices for model building , data actions , multi-actions , allocations , predictive forecasting , and value driver trees . Collaborate with finance, supply chain , and sales teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable planning models. Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA , BW/4HANA , HANA views , or external systems . Drive the performance optimization of stories, models, and planning workflows for maximum efficiency. Design and develop responsive, user-friendly dashboards and stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Leverage SACs capabilities such as charts, tables, KPIs, input controls, linked analysis, etc. Use calculated measures, restricted measures, hierarchies, parameters, and formulas effectively. Other cloud/on-premises data sources via OData, REST APIs, or SAP Cloud Connector Required Qualifications & Skills: experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) , with a strong focus on financial planning solutions . Deep understanding and Well-versed with hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning . Strong experience in model building , data actions , multi-actions , predictive forecasting , and value driver trees . Expertise in integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA , BW/4HANA , HANA views , or other external systems. Strong financial planning knowledge , with experience in budgeting , forecasting , and what-if analysis processes. Ability to optimize performance in SAC stories, models, and planning workflows. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SAC advanced features , such as predictive forecasting , allocations , and multi-actions . Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA , SAP S/4HANA , and integrating external systems into SAC Planning models. Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud or related EPM tools .
