SAP AMS Lead - Chennai & Hyderabad

• Lead and manage SAP AMS operations across multiple modules and landscapes (ECC / S/4HANA / PI / other components).
• Manage a global team of functional and technical consultants, ensuring SLA adherence for incidents, service requests, problem management, and change requests.
• Act as the escalation point for SAP support issues and ensure timely resolution with quality deliverables.
• Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and reporting metrics for AMS performance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, align IT support with business needs, and drive value-added initiatives.
• Oversee incident triage, root cause analysis, and problem resolution processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in support operations through automation, process optimization, and proactive monitoring.
• Manage vendor resources and coordinate with external partners for specialized support.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, audit, and security standards.
• Participate in release management, regression testing, and cutover planning for SAP changes.
• Provide governance and best practices guidance for AMS operations.

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong knowledge of multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, etc.).
• Proven track record in AMS / SAP support leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of SAP incident, change, and problem management processes (ITIL framework preferred).
• Experience managing large SAP landscapes, preferably in a global delivery model.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Prior experience in managing offshore/onsite teams.
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM.
