·   Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments. Design, implement, and support SAP MDG solutions (MDG-M, MDG-C, MDG-S, etc.).

·   Customize MDG data models, workflows, UI configurations, and validations. Utilize ABAP Object-Oriented Programming and apply design patterns where necessary.

·   Work with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Web Dynpro, Reports, Module Pool Programming, BDCs, LSMW, IDOCs, Enhancements (BADIs/User Exits), and ALE.

·   Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Utilize CDS Views, OData Services, and integrate with Fiori Apps (preferred). Support integrations between MDG and downstream systems. Leverage MDG Data Replication Framework,

·   DRFOUT settings, and Key Mapping concepts. Participate in code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices. Exposure to ABAP on Cloud, RAP programming is a plus.

·   Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

·   Minimum 5+ years of ABAP experience and 5+ years in SAP MDG (technical role).

·   Expertise in MDG configurations, data replication, and validation rules (BRF+). Strong understanding of S/4HANA data models and SAP NetWeaver architecture.

·   Knowledge of MDG extensions/customizations including custom data models.

·   Ability to troubleshoot and debug both ABAP and MDG-related issues.

·   Good understanding of master data processes for materials, vendors, customers, and finance.

·   Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
