SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development, with the ability to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications.
• Implement enhancements and customizations in SAP modules.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration testing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP-related issues.
• Document technical processes and solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and ABAP developments.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and tools.
• Experience with data dictionary objects (tables, views, data elements).
• Proficiency in creating reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI.
• Experience in performance tuning and debugging ABAP programs.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in ABAP.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and Fiori is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
