Job Title: SAP ABAP Lead

Total Exp: 10-12 Years

Location: Pune (WFO)

Notice Period: Immediate-30 Days

Mandatory Skills:

Domain Knowledge:

Candidate should have 10+years of experience and having excellent knowledge of ABAP Programming.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Minimum of 12-15 years of ABAP experience.
Develop robust ABAP solutions (OO-ABAP, BAdIs, Enhancements, User Exits) using latest syntax and best practices.
Deliver Fiori/UI5 apps and OData services using SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.
Maintain up-to-date, peer-reviewed technical documentation for all developments.
Estimate effort, distribute tasks, and track progress of development items.
Collaborate with functional teams to align technical solutions with scope and business needs.
Monitor development timelines and proactively escalate risks to schedule.
Ensure code quality via reviews, unit testing, ATC checks, and secure coding standards.
Act as primary contact for development discussions with client and cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior developers and conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
Analyze functional specs for feasibility and participate in design discussions.
Recommend configuration or enhancement approach over custom dev where applicable.
Define test cases and ensure unit test coverage before handoff to QA/UAT.
Identify and suggest code optimization or technical improvements on a quarterly basis.
