Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong experience in ABAP programming within ECC 5.0 and higher systems.
Proficiency in ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming.
SAP Development Frameworks
Experience with SDLC processes and SAP ABAP development standards.
Ability to work with BADI, BAPI, User Exits, Dialog programming, Reports, SAP Scripts, SMARTFORMS, ADOBE FORMS, Interfaces, and Conversion programs.
SAP Modules Knowledge
Familiarity with SAP business documents, master data, transaction data, and integration links
Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting
Root cause analysis using SAP tools (ABAP Debugger, SQL Trace, Code Optimizer, etc.).
Strong adherence to SAP layers of abstraction (Open SQL vs. Native SQL).
Integration & Interfaces
Familiarity with Webservices, PROXY, EDI/IDOC, XI/PI.
Knowledge of interface and messaging architectures.
Testing & Documentation
Ability to author and review technical specifications, unit test documents, and test scripts.
Familiarity with eCATT, Transaction Recorder, and BDC Programming.
Good to Have Skills

SAP S/4HANA ABAP Development (AMDP, CDS, BOPF).
SAPUI5 and Fiori application development.
SAP Gateway modeling and troubleshooting (SEGW).
Knowledge of SAP PERSONAS and JavaScript development.
BRF+ coding and Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), ABAP Cloud.
SQL Monitor (SQLM), SCMON experience

Global Project Exposure is mandatory

Integration & Interfaces - mandatory
