SAP ABAP Consultant

Role Overview: As a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, you play a crucial role in contributing valuable input to department objectives and goals of a sub-Business Unit or function. Your responsibilities involve demonstrating a strong understanding of various roles within the function or Business Unit, establishing lasting relationships with customers, and effectively interpreting their needs. Your expertise in a specific discipline allows you to anticipate customer requirements accurately. You will be tasked with evaluating operational feasibility, proposing solutions, conducting systems analysis to enhance operations, and suggesting necessary policy and procedure changes. Your proficiency in applying new technologies to software solutions and translating functional requirements into technical specifications will be pivotal for the team's success. Engaging with cross-functional teams, training and mentoring junior colleagues, and influencing software solutions for customers are key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Provide input to department objectives and goals - Establish and maintain relationships with customers - Anticipate and interpret customer needs - Determine operational feasibility and propose solutions - Improve operations through systems analysis and recommending changes - Apply new technologies in software solutions - Break down functional requirements into technical specifications - Engage with cross-functional teams - Train and mentor junior colleagues - Influence software solutions for customers Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience - End-to-End implementation experience in SAP implementations - Strong knowledge of SAP SD / MM / FI and understanding of business processes - Client facing experience - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance - Domain experience in Sales is preferable - Prior experience with Tax Software such as OneSource is advantageous - Strong understanding of SAP Technical Build - Proficiency in English (oral and written) - Willingness to travel to customer locations if required,
