SAP ABAP Consultant

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-11 years of experience in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP applications and interfaces within our SAP environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
• Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
• Provide support for SAP system upgrades and enhancements.
• Conduct unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP programs and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO) and their integration points.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ALV reports, BAPIs, and enhancements.
• Experience with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP Workflow and Smart Forms.
• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
