KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE POSITION (KRAS) FOR THE IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL YEAR

• Conducting requirement gathering, gap analysis, and preparing functional specifications. Collaborating with functional consultants to draft ABAP solution documents and executing testing processes.
• Partnering with business analysts, subject matter experts (SMEs), and process councils to analyze business requirements, participate in workshops, and document requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
• Working closely with the SAP functional team to translate functionality requirements into technical design and execution strategies.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES AND EXPERTISE

Functional Competencies:

1. Proficient in the development and implementation of ABAP projects.
2. Skilled at interpreting functional designs and transforming them into technical designs.
3. Extensive experience in ABAP development, including:
• WEB-DYNPRO, WEB Services, RFC, BAPI
• Development workbench, Reports (Classical & Interactive)
• Module pool/dialog programming, menu painter, screen painter
• Function modules, SAP Scripts, Smartforms, Workflow
• ABAP Query, BDC, Data Dictionary, LSMW
• ALE/IDoc, ALV, ABAP Objects, HR Info types, LDB
• User exits, Enhancements, BADIs
4. Proficient with Enhancement Packs and Support Packs, including familiarity with SPAU, SPDD, and OSS Notes.
5. Strong object-oriented programming (OOPS) skills.
6. Knowledge of ABAP on HANA and its applications.
7. Basic understanding of core SAP modules like SD, MM, and FI.
8. Experience with CDS Views and OData Services.

Essential Skills:

• Project Management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP Certification in ABAP & Fiori

Experience:

1. Over 2 years of ABAP development experience in SAP-ECC and S/4 HANA implementation and support projects.
2. SAP ABAP Certification is preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

1. Proven track record of contributing to 1-2 SAP implementation projects in a consultant role.
2. Hands-on experience in ABAP project development and implementation.
3. Expertise in transforming functional designs into technical designs.
4. Comprehensive ABAP development experience, including:
