Role Overview

The SAP Senior ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP applications in S/4HANA and ECC environments. The role involves migrating custom developments to modern S/4HANA-based solutions as part of a Greenfield implementation, ensuring high performance, system integration, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

• Convert and migrate custom developments from ECC to S/4HANA using latest capabilities and features.
  
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including design, testing, and deployment.
  
• Integrate SAP with external systems using

  IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services

  .
• Improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness through continuous innovation.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within ABAP development areas.
  
• Create and maintain detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  
• Support and mentor developers to promote knowledge sharing.
  
• Ensure compliance with global IT standards, coding guidelines, and security policies.
  
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants to deliver business-aligned solutions.
  
• (Good to have) Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration, text translations, and authorization development. JD_S.ABAP developer
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related domain.
  
• Deep knowledge of

  S/4HANA & ECC development concepts

  .
• Minimum

  9 years of experience

  in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in modern SAP technologies:

  ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData, Fiori

  .
• Hands-on experience with SAP development tools:
  
• SAP BAS, SAP Web IDE, Eclipse
  
• Repository tools: GitHub, GitLab
  
• Strong problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Experience with international projects and custom module development.
  
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
