Job Title: Sampling Merchandiser

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Design Director

Job Purpose: The design team works towards creating a good quality product which is unique to the client’s collection and that can be manufactured with ease

Role: Handle international buyers and manage end to end from requisition to giving sourcing details to purchase team, coordination with job workers to dispatch of samples.

Responsibilities and accountability:

o Handle international buyers and manage end to end sampling process starting with tech-pack print outs, requisition creation, giving sourcing details to purchase team, coordination with job workers to the dispatch of samples.

o Sole responsibility for updation of VG for EO and SDB

o Yarn issuance

o inward outward process for job workers

o Maintain file for costing received from Camilla for samples

o Keep the Camilla team updated about style changes dispatch of samples and also resolve queries

o maintain an updated summary file to show style related details and status of samples

· For other clients:

o Jacquard drawing

· Fairs and Exhibitions:

o Prepare colour cards for meetings, in-stock yarn or buyer fair and exhibitions

o Prepare kits, files, colour cards and samples for exhibitions / fairs

· Administrative:

o Maintain yarn library, yarn book, yarn master file

o Maintain swatch file

o Maintain updated Photograph file by following up for missing photos

o Update and maintain supplier yarn book entry in excel yarn file

o Enter yarn bills received in LD order file for all yarn at sampling stage for all merchandisers

o Assist in showroom set-up and organizing

o Maintain updated SDS and Requisitions file by following up with Merchandisers

o Co-ordinate with the factory for paper patterns and styles is this correctly placed here

· For LD Collection:

o Make KD for LD collection

o partially responsible for updation of VG for EO and SDB

o partially responsible for yarn issuance

o partially responsible for inward outward process for job workers

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Management, or a related field.

· Previous experience in garment merchandising or a related role is preferred.

· Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Like CLO, Photoshop, PPT, Etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
