In this role as the Software Asset Manager (SAM Manager), you will be responsible for managing software assets and licenses to ensure compliance, optimize usage, and reduce costs. Your duties will include conducting audits, risk assessments, developing asset management strategies, coordinating with different departments, and maintaining precise records. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for process enhancements and stay informed about industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Manage software assets and licenses to ensure compliance, optimize usage, and reduce costs - Conduct audits and risk assessments within the IT infrastructure - Develop asset management strategies - Coordinate with different departments - Maintain accurate records and documentation - Provide recommendations for process enhancements - Stay informed about industry best practices Qualifications Required: - Experience in Software Asset Management and IT Asset Management - Strong skills in conducting audits and risk assessments - Proficiency in developing strategies for asset optimization and cost reduction - Excellent coordination and communication skills - Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation - Familiarity with industry best practices and continuous improvement techniques Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAM and ITAM would be advantageous for this position.,
