Salesforce Vlocity Lead

As a Vlocity Technical Expert at Appirio, you will be responsible for: - Having hands-on experience with various Vlocity technologies such as Vlocity DataRaptor, Vlocity Cards, Vlocity OmniScript, VlocityDX, Vlocity Integration Procedures, Vlocity CPQ, and Vlocity OM/OM+. - Serving as the technical expert on projects related to Salesforce.com, Vlocity, and the Force.com platform. - Designing and implementing business technology solutions focusing on cloud-based applications, specifically Salesforce.com. - Directly involving in developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, configuration, testing, and deployment. - Working closely with clients to lead projects, conduct business process analysis sessions, and deliver technology solutions. - Providing mentoring and guidance to team members, including offshore team members. - Demonstrating professionalism in all business interactions, including fulfilling commitments on time, responding promptly to requests, and attending meetings punctually. - Being familiar with project management fundamentals and fulfilling project management roles. - Acting as a Vlocity subject matter expert and guiding customers towards appropriate solutions. - Utilizing standard cloud software functionalities creatively to meet business requirements instead of relying solely on custom code solutions. Requirements: - Bringing 8+ years of project experience in packaged software or custom development implementations. - Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Siebel, Clarify, Vantive, Peoplesoft, NetSuite, etc.), or Messaging and Collaboration software. - Overseeing technical decisions and activities of project teams, dividing work, assigning tasks, and monitoring quality. - Understanding platform limitations and designing alternatives to work around limitations. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify conflicts between business requirements and technical capabilities. - Providing constructive feedback, monitoring technical deliverables for quality, and ensuring compliance with standards. - Collaborating with project managers to monitor project status and risk areas. - Performing advanced design and development tasks. - Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - Having hands-on technical leadership experience for 8+ years. - Possessing Vlocity experience or Vlocity certification(s), along with 5+ years of Salesforce development experience. - Experience working on deployment teams, preferably using Agile development techniques. - Excellent communication skills and business operations experience in the Insurance Sector. - Must be able to direct and drive development teams effectively. - Proficiency in Agile Methodology and SCRUM Framework. - Salesforce advanced administrator, advanced developer, or technical architect certifications are highly preferred. - Holding one or more current Salesforce.com certifications. - Having spent at least a year as a Technical Architect in various projects. - Possessing Vlocity Platform Developer/Consultant certification and Vlocity CPQ certification, or certification in either Salesforce CPQ or Apttus CPQ.,
