About the Role

Salesforce QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze

  business requirements and user stories

  to design test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform

  manual and automated testing

  for Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations.
• Validate

  Salesforce configuration, custom objects, workflows, flows, and Apex classes

  .
• Conduct

  UI testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing

  .
• Work closely with developers, admins, and business analysts to resolve defects.
• Implement

  test automation frameworks

  (Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce-compatible tools).
• Manage and track defects using

  JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

  .
• Ensure

  data integrity, security, and compliance

  across Salesforce environments.
• Participate in

  UAT cycles

  and provide support to business stakeholders.
• Contribute to

  Agile ceremonies

  (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4–5 years of QA experience, with

  minimum 2+ years in Salesforce testing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience)

  .
• Proficiency in

  writing SQL/SOQL queries

  for test validation.
• Hands-on experience with

  manual testing

  and exposure to

  automation tools

  (Provar, Selenium, TestNG, QTP, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum methodology

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Salesforce QA/Testing or

  ISTQB Certification

  preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience with

  API testing

  (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Exposure to

  healthcare, finance, or telecom domains

  with Salesforce use cases.
