Salesforce QA Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce QA Engineer with a strong foundation in Salesforce architecture, data analysis, Agile methodologies, and test automation but clients current focus is mostly on manual testing . The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating seamlessly with both offshore and onshore teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing practices. Experience with Azure DevOps , Jira , and mobile testing tools like Lambda Test or Browser Stack is essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis & Reporting Extract and analyze data from multiple sources as per business requirements. Develop detailed and ad-hoc reports using joined data sets. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards. 2. Salesforce Testing & Architecture Conduct end-to-end testing of Salesforce applications for functionality, performance, and security. Utilize strong understanding of Salesforce architecture to design and execute effective test cases. 3. Agile Development & Collaboration Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure timely and quality releases. 4. Mobile Testing & Test Automation Perform cross-browser and mobile testing using tools such as Lambda Test or Browser Stack. Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, TestComplete). 5. DevOps & Project Management Tools Work with Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, task boards, and code repositories. Log and track bugs, enhancements, and tasks using Jira or similar tools. 6. Offshore-Onshore Coordination Maintain clear and continuous communication between offshore and onshore stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment on deliverables. Required Skills & Experience: Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture and quality assurance. Strong experience in data extraction, report generation, and analytics. Hands-on experience in Agile development environments. Proficient in Azure DevOps for DevOps lifecycle and collaboration. Experience in mobile and cross-browser testing tools like Lambda Test or Browser Stack. Competency in Jira for issue and project tracking. Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-regional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder). Strong scripting skills for automated testing. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
