Job Description

As a Marketing Technology Solution Consultant at VML in Mumbai, your role will involve designing and implementing comprehensive marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive customer engagement and business growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Hands-on experience with Sales/Service Cloud - Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies - Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields - Experience working with Flows, Apex jobs, triggers, job schedulers - Integrate Salesforce with other third-party applications and systems using APIs and web services **Solution Design & Implementation:** - Conduct discovery sessions with client teams for understanding requirements and the current solution setup - Act as a technical consultant for marketing automation projects, translating client requirements into actionable solutions - Conduct platform assessments and recommend optimal marketing technology stacks - Create technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps - Develop integrated solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Contact Builder, Web Studio, Automation Studio, Einstein) - Build responsive, personalized email templates, landing pages, and mobile campaigns using out of the box templates, content blocks, HTML, Javascript, AMPScript - Build automations and data management using SQL **Technical Integration & Analytics:** - Develop and maintain integrations between marketing platforms and external systems via APIs, data imports, SQL - Design data integration strategies ensuring seamless data flow across marketing technology stack - Build and manage audience segments, data extensions, and customer profiles - Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable optimization insights - Conduct A/B testing strategies to improve engagement rates and ROI **Client Management:** - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for marketing technology initiatives - Stay current with platform updates, new features, and industry best practices In your 6-8 years of experience in marketing technology consulting or solution implementation, you should have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is required along with experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL. You should also possess a strong understanding of API integrations and data management. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, excellent problem-solving, and analytical abilities are highly valued. Certifications such as Salesforce platform Developer 1 would be good to have.,
