Salesforce Developer - Apex/Visual Force

Role Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team in a subcontractor capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Salesforce development and customization, particularly in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integration mechanisms. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where technical depth, solution-oriented thinking, and client-facing communication are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities :

Salesforce Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Lightning Experience Implementation :

- Build responsive and intuitive Lightning Components using Lightning App Builder and custom LWC development.

Declarative Configuration :

- Configure Salesforce features using standard tools such as Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, and Validation Rules.

Integration Development :

- Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and custom adapters.

Data Management and ETL (Preferred) :

- Work with data migration tools and ETL processes to support data loads, cleansing, and transformation activities.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Conduct comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with Salesforce best practices.

Client Communication :

- Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders, gather and analyze business requirements, and present feasible and scalable technical solutions.

Documentation & Compliance :

- Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design, development guidelines, and deployment checklists. Ensure adherence to coding standards and security compliance.

Required Technical Skills :

Core Salesforce Technologies :

- Apex, Apex Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components

Cloud Expertise :

- Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud

Integration Proficiency :

- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, Remote Site Settings, and authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, SAML)

Web Technologies :

- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, with experience in frameworks such as ExtJS and JQuery

Data Handling Tools (Nice to Have) :

- Knowledge of ETL tools and data migration strategies using Data Loader, Workbench, or third-party tools

Professional Competencies :

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

- Ability to write clean, optimized, and well-documented code

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for client-facing scenarios

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
