Salesforce Developer

Salesforce experience must haves must have proficient knowledge and experience in these areas:

• Apex
• Apex Triggers and Controllers
• Asynchronous and Batch Apex
• Apex Unit Tests and best practices
• Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Jest tests (for testing LWC components)
• SOQL (SOSL is a plus)
• Salesforce API interfaces (at least the Rest API)
• Javascript & HTML (in the context of LWC components)
• Experience with Visual Studio Code (VSCode) and Github source control system

Salesforce experience nice to haves but not essential:

• Aura Components
• Visual Force
• Salesforce integrations with other systems
• Flows
• Chat, CTI, Salesforce Knowledge (this is the article management platform)
• Salesforce Data Loader
• Salesforce Connected Apps, OAuth 2, SSO
• Additional Salesforce API interfaces

Other technologies and languages nice to haves but not essential:

• AWS
• Java
• Python
• JSON, XML, SQL
• Jira

Here are the most common Salesforce certifications that developer candidates are more likely to have, the more they have the better:

• Certified Associate
• Certified Administrator
• Certified Advanced Administrator
• Certified Platform App Builder
• Certified Platform Developer 1
• Certified Platform Developer 2
• Certified Javascript Developer

• Some candidates may also have some other certifications, such as AWS; these would also be valuable.
