Sales support & Pricing (ocean & air freight)

As a Pricing and Booking Specialist, your role involves handling ocean and air booking as well as pricing tasks. You will be responsible for closing inquiries, maintaining strong relationships with both agents and customers, and negotiating with carriers. Additionally, you will focus on carrier development, sending out quotations, and staying updated on market trends to secure the best rates. Your support towards the customer base will be crucial in providing pricing-related assistance effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Manage ocean and air booking and pricing - Close inquiries efficiently - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agents and customers - Negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive rates - Develop relationships with carriers - Prepare and send out quotations - Stay informed about market trends to secure the best rates - Coordinate marketing and events related to pricing Qualifications: - 1 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding - Sales-driven and result-oriented mindset - Willingness to be based in Vadodara or Ahmedabad - Graduate or Post Graduate degree - Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, speaking) - Proficient in using modern technology, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and in-house freight forwarding software In addition to the role and responsibilities, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
