Sales Specialist Expert (Commodity / Building Product Sectors, South India)

You are an experienced Sales Specialist with in-depth knowledge of the commodity or building product sectors in India. This opportunity is part of a post-merger integration project with a global consulting firm, specifically focusing on brand transition and dealer engagement in South India. Your responsibilities will include conducting market visits across South India to establish connections with dealers and key accounts. You will be expected to gather insights on pain points and bottlenecks in brand transition, acting as a liaison between the client's leadership team and on-ground market stakeholders. Additionally, you will need to provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales transition strategies. To excel in this role, you should possess 5-10 years of sales experience within commodity or building product sectors such as cement, steel, tiles, paints, plywood, or sanitaryware. Previous leadership roles like Head of Sales, Regional Sales Manager, State Sales Head, or higher are preferred. Strong dealer and channel management skills are essential, along with fluency in at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, or Telugu). Extensive travel across South Indian markets is expected.
