About the Opportunity

Joy Ice Cream is expanding its operations across Kerala and invites applications for the positions of Sales Officer (SO) and Area Sales Manager (ASM) to strengthen its sales and distribution network.

Sales Officer (SO) – Locations

• Alappuzha
• Kottayam
• Idukki
• Thrissur
• Malappuram
• Kochi (Vyttila, Aluva, Thodupuzha)
• Palakkad

Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Coverage Areas

• ASM – South Kerala: Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta
• ASM – Central Kerala: Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki

Final location assignment will be based on business requirements and candidate residence.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Officer (SO)

• Commence field activities by 9:00 AM daily
• Visit assigned retail outlets as per approved beat plan
• Ensure a minimum of 30 shop visits per month
• Generate at least 10 billing outlets with a minimum order value of ₹15,000
• Submit the first shop visit photograph before 10:00 AM
• Support distributor operations, order booking, and follow-ups
• Ensure proper freezer placement, visibility, and hygiene standards
• Execute in-store branding activities including flex boards and POS materials
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

• Lead and manage Sales Officers within the assigned territory
• Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Appoint, develop, and monitor distributors in strategic locations
• Ensure distributor billing of ₹1.5–2 lakhs per month
• Monitor freezer schemes, branding execution, and outlet visibility
• Conduct joint market visits and periodic performance reviews
• Ensure discipline in reporting and field execution
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, and internal teams

Eligibility Criteria
Sales Officer (SO)

• Any basic degree
• 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, Ice Cream, or Frozen Foods sales
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is mandatory
• Local candidates preferred

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

• Any basic degree
• 5–8 years of experience in FMCG, Ice Cream, or Frozen Foods
• Proven experience in distributor and team management
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Compensation and Benefits
Sales Officer (SO)

• Monthly salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000
• Travel Allowance and Daily Allowance as applicable
• Annual performance bonus of up to ₹1,00,000

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

• Monthly salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000
• Travel Allowance and Daily Allowance as applicable
• Annual performance bonus of up to ₹2,00,000
