Role Overview

The Mid-Level Management Sales Professional plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, managing client portfolios, and executing regional or segment-focused sales strategies. This position requires strong relationship management, data-driven decision-making, and demonstrated success in developing new business and optimizing channel effectiveness.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement sales strategies and campaigns that align with overall company objectives.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain strong client relationships, including prompt resolution of escalated issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage existing client portfolios and proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, distributors, and dealers to maximize market reach and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Acquire new customers and partners through targeted prospecting, networking, and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage sales performance within assigned territory or branch to ensure consistent revenue flow and goal attainment.
  • Develop and execute regional or segment-specific sales plans to drive market expansion and brand presence.
  • Oversee sales operations, product distribution, and the execution of promotional activities within designated areas.
  • Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, oversee renewals, and handle service escalations to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse performance metrics and sales data to refine approaches and improve results.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance analyses for management review and decision-making.
  • Ensure robust usage of CRM platforms and sales technology to track leads, opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline efficiently

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in securing revenue share, high value deals & building a distribution network for medical devices/instruments and/or diagnostics business, and Healthcare industry.
  • 3 to 7 years of successful sales experience in high end medical device>.
  • Strong network and relationship management skills with hospital administrators, doctors, and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product details effectively.
  • Sales team management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Academic qualification is not a prerequisite, but an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
