Channel Sales Manager

Role: Sales Manager-LAP

Location: Bangalore

Salary: 6-10 LPA

Exp: 3-6 Yrs

KreditBee is India’s largest fintech lending platform with a current monthly disbursement of over 2500 Crores. It has 80 Million+ downloads on Google Play Store and over 150 Million unique loan customers. It offers various financial services digitally including but not limited to Personal Loans, Business Loans, Loan against property (LAP), DigiGold investment, Insurance, Credit Score Report, and Expense Tracker. The group entity has an in-house RBI registered NBFC, and is currently Series-D funded with marque investors like Premji Invest, Advent International, Motilal Oswal Private Equity, MUFG and TPG-backed NewQuest, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business targets for Loan Against Property (LAP) products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the LAP portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Head to set sales targets and objectives for the team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  1. Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team, conducting regular reviews and providing feedback for improvement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss sales strategies, performance, and challenges.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new sales executives.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for customers.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the sales team provides accurate information about LAP products, terms, and conditions.
  1. Business Development:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, such as real estate developers and brokers, to drive business growth.
  • Develop referral networks and establish partnerships to generate leads and increase market share.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote LAP products and the company’s brand.
  1. Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards in all sales activities.
  • Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and monitor sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the credit and risk teams to ensure that loan applications meet the required criteria and standards.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, including metrics such as loan disbursals, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities, customer interactions, and loan applications.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, sales scripts, and other documentation to support the sales team.
  1. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, mortgage products, and sales techniques.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, including the implementation of new technologies or automation.
  • Support the introduction of new sales initiatives and campaigns to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the mortgage, real estate, or financial services industry.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of LAP products, mortgage lending, and real estate markets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing mortgage lending.
