Job Overview - Sales Manager - Home Automation

NUOS is looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager-Home Automation to lead sales through channel partners, builders, and project-based alliances. The ideal candidate will come from a competitive smart home brand, electrical, lighting, or automation industry, with a strong network of partners and proven ability to drive revenue in the residential and commercial automation space.

Key Responsibilities

Channel & Builder Development

Identify, onboard, & activate new channel partners (system integrators/distributors).

Develop relationships with real estate developers, interior designers, and MEP

consultants to drive adoption of NUOS Smart Automation in upcoming projects.

Create customized partnership plans to grow and support each channel's performance.

Sales Execution

Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring a consultative approach

that highlights NUOS' value proposition.

Conduct product demos, partner training, & presentations to builder teams.

Prepare project-specific proposals, pricing, and commercial terms in alignment with business goals.

Account Management

Maintain ongoing relationships with key partners and builders to ensure repeat business, timely execution, and cross-sell opportunities.

Act as the primary point of contact for collaboration with internal teams.

Market & Competitor Insights

Track competitor activities & market dynamics in the smart home spaces.

Share insights with product & leadership teams to refine offerings & improve positioning.

Stay updated on industry events, trade shows, and builder tie-ups.

Key Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in home automation, lighting, or smart loT devices.

Preferably from brands like SmartNode, Digilux, Raylogic, etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.

Skills:

Deep understanding of smart switch panels, sensors, & mobile-based automation systems.

Strong relationships with builders, architects, and channel partners.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing skills.

Personal Attributes:

Self-starter with strong ownership and drive to achieve sales targets.

Comfortable with fieldwork, site visits, and client meetings.

Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
