Procurement Solutions Provider LLP (PSP) is a growing consultancy led by former senior executives from reputed PSUs and Government organizations. We specialize in public procurement, contracting, and GeM-related services, supporting both Government Buyers and Vendors across India.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager – GeM/Procurement Services to lead revenue generation/business development efforts in the Government and GeM (Government e-Marketplace) domain. The role involves generating new leads, converting opportunities, conducting client visits, and promoting PSP’s procurement and GeM-related training and Procurement services.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in Sales / Marketing (preferably working in Government or B2B domain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate business leads from government departments, PSUs, and public sector organizations.
  • Convert GeM-based clients through structured sales engagement and relationship management.
  • Conduct visits to client offices, hold meetings, and present PSP’s procurement and GeM services.
  • Organize and coordinate GeM awareness and training sessions with client departments.
  • Achieve sales and business development targets through effective lead conversion.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients and build long-term relationships.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, presentations, and service offers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for proposal development, documentation, and client support.
  • Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and updates on government procurement trends.
  • Visit client offices for presentations and lead conversion.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with clients for business closure.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships in the public procurement ecosystem.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly business targets.
  • Identify & visit Government establishments, to generate Leads related to Procurement Services, Capacity Building etc.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in sales / marketing/business development / client relations, preferably in GeM, Government tenders, or procurement consulting.
  • Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM preferred, not mandatory).

Skills:

· Strong communication and presentation skills (English & Hindi).

· Good understanding of GeM portal, public procurement process, and related documentation.

· Ability to independently handle client meetings and negotiations. Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel for client meetings.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online communication tools.
