Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Assistant Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet business goals.
Assist in managing the sales team, monitoring their performance, and providing coaching when needed.
Identify new business opportunities and help in expanding market reach.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and market trends.
Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct regular field visits and client meetings.
Participate in recruitment, training, and onboarding of new sales staff.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalate issues as needed.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM).
Willingness to travel as required.
