Position: Head of Sales (Retail Furniture Store)
Reports To: General Manager / Directors
Experience- 10+ years
Ctc- upto 18 Lpa (depends on interview )
Working Days -6 days (10am-7 pm)/ (11am-8 pm )
The Head of Sales is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for overseeing all sales operations and driving revenue growth for our retail furniture store. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in retail sales management, an in-depth understanding of the furniture industry, and the ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team. The Head of Sales will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies, optimizing the customer journey, and ensuring the store meets and exceeds its sales targets.
1. Sales Strategy & Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and expand market share.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine sales tactics.Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for the team and individual sales associates.Oversee the entire sales process, from initial customer engagement to final transaction and after-sales support.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals.
Provide on going coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to the sales team.Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to review performance, address challenges, and celebrate successes.Foster a positive, results-oriented, and collaborative team culture.
3. Customer Experience & Relationship Management:
Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring all customers receive exceptional service.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, interior designers, and other industry partners.Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback, using insights to improve the in-store experience.Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
4. Store Operations & Merchandising:
Collaborate with the merchandising and inventory teams to ensure optimal product presentation and inventory levels.
Oversee showroom layout and product displays to maximize sales potential.Stay up-to-date on new product arrivals, industry trends, and furniture design to provide expert guidance to the team and customers.Work with the store manager to manage daily operations and maintain store standards.
5. Performance Measurement & Reporting:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
Sales Revenue and GrowthConversion RateSales Per EmployeeAverage Transaction Value (ATV)Gross MarginCustomer Retention RateInventory TurnoverPrepare and present regular sales performance reports to the management team.Manage the sales department budget and ensure efficient resource allocation
