Job Description

A dynamic and experienced sales leader to drive and grow WPCs footprint across south India in both retail and project sales verticals. Candidate must have a track record in building dealer/distributor networks, managing channel partners for projects, and leading large sales teams in architectural or building materials industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with WPC’s business objectives for both retail (dealers/distributors) and projects (channel partners) verticals.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets and customer segments for expansion.

2. Retail Sales (Dealer Model)

  • Expand and manage a network of distributors and dealers across India.
  • Build region-wise retail sales growth strategies and guide regional teams to execute.
  • Monitor product display, branding, promotional schemes, and secondary sales performance.

3. Project Sales (Channel Partner Model)

  • Identify, onboard & manage channel partners for project supply and execution.
  • Develop engagement models and support mechanisms for channel partners to sell.
  • Coordination with internal ops, marketing, and CRM teams for partner management.

4. Sales Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of 20+ sales staff spread across regions.
  • Drive performance, review and coach regional teams to deliver results.
  • Set, track, and achieve volume/value targets through team and channel accountability.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing to align sales promotions & customer campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Operations and CRM for order fulfillment, customer coordination and support.

Candidate Experience Parameters:

Requirements

Experience

15 years total sales experience, with at least 5 years in a

senior/regional leadership role

Industry

Premium architectural products, building materials, or allied segments such as UPVC/Aluminium doors & windows, decorative wood products & laminates,

hardware, faade & cladding products, flooring, roofing.

Team

Managed teams of 20+ salespeople, with direct

responsibility for hiring, developing, driving performance and reviewing teams.

Channel

Proven experience in developing and scaling

dealer/distributor networks channel partners.

Geographic

Strong exposure to at least 2–3 major regional markets

in India, and experience expanding into Tier 2 cities.

Education

Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred but not

mandatory if experience is strong.

Technology

Comfortable working with CRM systems, Excel

dashboards and reporting formats.

Languages

Fluency in English, Hindi and regional language
