Marketing Job Description Looking for a dynamic individual with 2-6 minimum experience in sales, marketing, liason of cables, electricals and related product in government entities and Turnkey Contractors. Direct Reporting: Director
Responsibilities
1. Sales and marketing for customers such as government Discoms and private EPC (turnkey) contractors.
2. Get Sales orders and ensure timely execution of sales order as per customer delivery timeline without late delivery.
3. Manage favourable tender conditions, contract specification from customer.
4. Meet and represent the company to various executives in government Departments(like XEN, SE, Chief Engineers.
5. Carefully analyse tender conditions and make summary of the tender documents or RFQs.
6. Manage post sales activities such as inspection, release of Performance BGs, Performance Certificates, EMD (earnest money deposit).
7. Identify upcoming business opportunities in Indian government schemes and DISCOMs.
8. Manage a team of 2-6 Persons.
9. Get inspection nominations, Dispatch instructions, sales orders etc on time.
10. Coordinate passing of bills and price variation letters with on ground teams.
11. Attend to any quality issues and collect customer feedback to improve the quality of the product.
12. Report and discuss the ongoing and upcoming activities with directors.
13. Draft responses for official communication and letters from customers.
14. Develop new customers and maintain positive relationship with existing customers.
15. Tender id analysis, bid preparation for electricity Board, turnkey contractors, contract negotiation, liasion with officials, 2+ years govt. tendering
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree.
2. 2-6 year of sales experience state electricity boards, contractors (L&T, Tata projects, NCC, Bajaj, Jackson, SEB, Discom in either UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, MP, WB, Delhi, Bihar or JBVNL etc).
3. Located/ ready to relocate to Noida/ Ghaziabad/Delhi.
4. Ability to travel at least 2 days a week on average to various parts of india via rail/car.
5. Basic understanding of tendering / government procurement business in India.
6. Ability to draft emails, letters and use basic MS office functionality.
7. Employment commitment for 3 years.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Basic understanding of LT Power Cables and AB Cables.
2. Successful procuring minimum average yearly revenue of 20Cr/each year (or more) over last 2 years. 3. Knowledge about government schemes in electrical field such as IPDS, Revamped (RDSS), IPDS, DDUGJY, Saubhagya etc.
4. Basic understanding of Performance BGs and Letter of Credit.
5. Ability to drive a car / motorcycle.
