Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Regular travel to factories for quality checks, production monitoring, and coordination with vendors.

Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and converter factories for Textile Project activities.
Ensure adherence to Textile quality standards and compliance requirements.
Handle import-export documentation related to textile orders.

Accompany or support Japanese expatriates during business trips and factory visits.
Assist in implementing business plans aligned with Textile strategy.
Explore and support business opportunities for yarns, fibers, and fabrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Prepare sales proposals, reports, and presentations tailored to client needs.
Negotiate with sewing factories and finalize terms with vendors.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and share regular feedback.
Submit documentation such as certifications, test reports, and shipment records on time.
Generate and share MIS reports; support production follow-up as per Toray instructions.

Prior experience working with
UNIQLO
or similar global apparel brands.
Exposure to
Japanese textile companies
or Japanese work culture.
Understanding of Japanese quality standards and communication etiquette is a plus.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Textile, Fashion, Commerce, or Business-related fields
Experience in dyeing and finishing factory preferred
Prior work with Japanese companies or UNIQLO is a plus
Good English communication (Japanese is an advantage)
Willing to be stationed at Vapi, Surat
Good listener and able to follow instructions
Proficient in Excel (advanced level preferred)
