Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sales Executive

1. Sales and Target Achievement

Achieve Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for prescription drugs and/or APIs (if selling to other manufacturers).
Territory Planning:
Strategically plan daily and weekly routes to ensure high-frequency visits to target customers (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and potential B2B clients).
Generate Prescriptions/Orders:
Persuade and influence healthcare professionals to prescribe the company's products over competitors' (for finished drugs) or secure purchase orders (for APIs).

2. Product Promotion and Education

Product Detailing:
Conduct face-to-face or virtual presentations to effectively communicate the scientific data, clinical benefits, mechanism of action, dosage, and side effects of the products.
Provide Samples and Literature:
Distribute product samples, brochures, and clinical data while ensuring strict compliance with all regulations.

3. Customer Relationship and Market Intelligence

Client Relationship Management (CRM):
Build, nurture, and maintain strong, trusting, long-term relationships with key customers, including doctors, pharmacists, and purchase managers.
Market Feedback:
Gather and report crucial information on competitor activities, market trends, customer acceptance, and product performance to the sales and marketing teams.
Troubleshooting:
Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints regarding product quality, usage, or supply promptly and professionally.

4. Reporting and Compliance

Reporting:
Maintain meticulous daily call records, sales reports, expense reports, and inventory logs (especially for samples) using CRM software or company systems.
