8)Role & responsibilities

The  Sales Executive is responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling the companys  and horticultural products and services. The role involves identifying potential clients, developing strong relationships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the companys market growth. The executive serves as a key link between customers and the organization, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

Roles:

1) Promote and market the companys products and services to potential and existing clients.

2)Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.

3)Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through client visits and networking.

4)Conduct site and farm visits to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.

5)Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

6)Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-ups for successful business conversions.

7)Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure timely product delivery and after-sales support.

8)Collect and analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor information.

9)Maintain detailed records of sales activities and prepare periodic reports for management.

10)Represent the company in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.

11)Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

1)Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

2)Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

3)Sound knowledge of agricultural and horticultural products and market practices.

4)Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.

Commitment to customer satisfaction and organizational growth.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate in

    Marketing, Business Administration, Horticulture, or any related field

  • 14 years of experience

    in sales, preferably in

    landscaping, gardening, real estate, or construction industries

  • Proven track record of achieving

    sales targets and business growth

  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Strong

    client relationship management

    and follow-up ability
  • Knowledge of

    landscaping materials, plants, and maintenance services

    will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office and CRM tools

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to travel for

    client meetings and site visits

  • Positive attitude with a

    professional and team-oriented approach
