Job Description

Primary Role:

To sell Yamaha motorcycles/scooters to walk-in and digital customers, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall growth of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Handling & Sales

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Yamaha bikes or scooters.
  • Provide detailed product information (features, variants, pricing, financing, insurance, etc.).
  • Offer test rides and explain after-sales services.
  • Close the sale and assist with booking and delivery processes.

Lead Follow-up & Conversion

  • Follow up with online leads, inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, or showroom visits.
  • Maintain a lead tracking system (CRM or manual).
  • Convert potential leads into confirmed bookings.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Assist customers with finance, insurance, and registration paperwork.
  • Coordinate with finance companies and RTO agents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of vehicles.

Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated with the latest Yamaha bike models, specifications, features, pricing, and offers.
  • Know about competing models for better comparisons and pitching.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Work towards individual and team sales targets set by the dealership or Yamaha.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns and local marketing activities.

Showroom Upkeep

  • Ensure the bikes on display are clean, properly arranged, and presentable.
  • Maintain updated price tags, brochures, and promotional materials.

Customer Satisfaction & After-Sales

  • Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate if needed.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and convincing skills.
  • Basic understanding of bikes and automobile sales.
  • Friendly attitude with strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of financing and insurance processes is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (billing software, Excel, etc.).

Daily/Weekly Tasks

  • Track and report daily walk-ins, leads, bookings, and deliveries.
  • Update sales performance to the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training.
